Cosmetology SkillsUSA members from the Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning who are involved in the American Spirit competition recently donated gifts to the Denton County Friends of the Family organization for young girls who have been sexually abused or have, in any way, been victimized. These students hope their gifts bring joy back into the lives of these young ladies and help them believe that there are people who still care. The SkillsUSA American Spirit team members are Aisa Maric, Hailey Ardry and Alissa Stone.

Cenergistic is Now Hiring Two Energy Specialists for BISD

Will you take a few minutes to consider an opportunity that could help conserve the financial resources of Birdville ISD while preserving its environment?

Energy is one of our most rapidly rising operating expenses. As we face the challenges of increased expectations and in some instances reduced funding, energy management is a necessity.  For that reason, BISD has partnered with Cenergistic to assist the District in reducing our consumption of energy, allowing us to invest those savings into more important priorities.

Cenergistic is searching for the best individuals possible to lead a comprehensive energy conservation program for BISD. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about using their communication skills to reduce our energy bills so those dollars can be used for a much better purpose – whether it is hiring new staff or just reducing overhead.

If you, or someone you know, may be interested in making a difference for Birdville ISD and its community through energy conservation, the District encourages you to inquire about the open Energy Specialist positions. Cenergistic will be hosting an Information Session at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20 in the Birdville ISD Boardroom. Please see the attached advertising flyer for more information.

PLEASE NOTE: Interested applicants should apply with cover letter and resume to http://www.cenergistic.com/careers.
