Important Insurance Information: Making Changes due to Spouse’s Open Enrollment Period
Many corporations are having open enrollment at this time with changes being effective Jan. 1, 2018.
If you plan to make any changes to your Birdville benefits effective Jan. 1, the District must process the change BEFORE the holiday break. Please fill out the change form if you plan to make changes. Email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP along with documentation that verifies your spouse’s open enrollment period with the effective date of Jan. 1.
Note: Not all changes are allowed. Please check with Babs at ext. 5782 before submitting a change.
Open Enrollment for staff benefits continues through Aug. 22. Every employee is required to walk through the process in the Employee Benefits HUB. Visit www.mybenefitshub.com/Birdvilleisd. You MUST either accept or waive each benefit. Enrollment assistance is available at the Administration Building July 25–26 and Aug. 1 and Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
