All Skyward systems, including Family Access, will be unavailable from approximately 1–11 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

During this timeframe, BISD’s Technology Department will be installing the latest updates from Skyward. If you are using Skyward prior to the update, please use the Exit link to log out of the system.

Anyone using Skyward applications while maintenance is being conducted will be automatically logged out and lose all unsaved data.

(This raise represents more than $2.83 million.) For teachers working 187 days, this is an annual increase of $1,350. The starting salary for a first-year teacher with no experience is $53,000.

In addition to the raise, the Board reviewed data from the Texas Association of School Boards that identified three employee groups in BISD’s pay structure that need additional salary adjustments to move them closer to the DFW market levels. These groups are teachers with 11 to 23 years of experience, assistant principals, and paraprofessionals. (The adjustments for these three groups equal more than $509,000 and bring these groups closer to market levels.)

Staff will be notified once individual salaries are posted in MUNIS Employee Self Service.

The week of April 25–28, BISD will be transitioning websites to new web servers. ALL BISD employees with a District website will NOT have access to EDIT their Schoolwires sites on Thursday, April 27. Please make sure you plan accordingly regarding website updates. An email will be sent to staff once we receive the “All Clear” to log in and edit. We anticipate that the conversion will be completed by the end of the day on Thursday, April 27. There will be no data loss as a result of this conversion.
